Starting camp, I wasn't very independent. I was very unsure on life and what to expect as I was very young. Finishing camp gave me so much independence, confidence and self belief. Camp taught me how to adapt to different cultures and understand that everyone is truly special in their own way.
You need all those skills to be successful in life. The key ingredient camp gives you to shape your future is happiness. The memories you gain, the friends you make are for life. The best bit was the fact the kids were happy and smiling, and that everyone had a part and felt important.
