Hey! My name is Sophie Whitehead, I am 21 and I live in Leeds. I am a singer, songwriter, producer, pianist, actress and dancer that graduated from London College of Music in summer 2018.
I have been placed at French Woods Festival of Performing Arts in New York as a Camp Counsellor/Assistant Teacher within the music department. This is my first year doing Camp America but my 17th visit to the US, so I am excited to get the experience of doing something totally different other than having a vacation with my family.
As well as travelling, I love meeting like-minded people that I can make lifelong friendships with and so working at a summer camp seems like the best place to do this. My dream job is to work in the music industry, whether that be in business, management or as an artist. I hope while at camp I can really work on my leadership skills as this will help me in my further career.
