Rhiannon

Hello! My name is Rhiannon but at camp everyone just calls me Rhi. I am a final year teaching student at Stranmillis University College and I graduate in in June this year! (I’ll be a qualified teacher, how scary, I feel old!).

I am a swimming teacher, a youth leader at my church and a play worker for a local after school club – I sleep sometimes I promise. This is my second summer going back to my wonderful camp French Woods! Last year I worked as a lifeguard and a swimming teacher whereas this year I decided I just wanted to go back as a general.

I fell in love with America last summer, the culture was so welcoming and you really do make an additional family at camp with your kids and your fellow staff members. I can’t wait to go back to camp and see everyone again! (Also not going to lie – buzzing to not be ghost white anymore and get my tan back!)
