​Hi! I’m Zoe and this will be my first year at camp. I’m heading to Camp Potomac Woods in Leesburg, Virginia for summer 2019 and I cannot wait!

I’ll be a camping specialist at this girl scout camp teaching the girls the ways of the outdoors with outdoor cooking and sleeping under the stars. The outdoors has always been a part of my life so I’m looking forward to spending the nights in rustic Glen shelters and getting used to the ‘BIFFY’s (non flushable loo’s!)

I’m 22 (23 whilst at Camp!), from Bournemouth and qualified as a nurse last September (hoping no one injures themselves too badly). I also have type one diabetes so I will be able to offer some insight into dealing with illnesses whilst at camp.
