Camp Overview
Windridge is a unique overnight summer camp in that it blends the aspects of a specialty sports camp with a more traditional New England camp setting. Campers choose which sport they want to specialize in (tennis, soccer, golf, horseback riding) and then choose from an array of electives such as golf, archery, ropes courses, lacrosse, mountain biking, etc. Evenings consist of all kinds of activities from talent shows to campfires and large camp games. The end of each session culminates with a 3 day color war where staff and campers together compete to win their color!

Staff Time Off
Counselors work morning to night with at least one period off during the day. Counselors work in their program areas during the day and then help with evening activities (if they are on duty) and getting campers settled for bed. Counselors get at least one period off per day. Counselors get one to two evenings off per week. Support staff work in shifts usually early morning to late afternoon or afternoon into evening. All staff get a total of 9 days off over the course of a 9 week summer (includes week of orientation).
Staff Qualities
We are looking for staff members who love children and want to go above and beyond to make the campers have the best summers of their life. For program staff we are looking for highly skilled tennis players, soccer players and horseback riding. We prefer those who have played at least university level and have some teaching/coaching experience. For support staff, we are looking for hard workers who know how to solve problems and can work together as a team. We want staff who recognize that the number one priority is our campers and that working at our camp is extremely demanding but also highly rewarding.
