No, sorry, Camp America does not accept joint applications. This is because the camps need their staff to be flexible and act independently. Each placement of an applicant to camp is made individually based on your skills, experience and interests, as well as the dates you’re able to go. Our placement team do their best to match you as an individual person to the camp that is best suited.

Applicants, however, are not prevented from attending in person or online Recruitment Fairs together - whereby they will meet directly with Camp Directors, who will ultimately decide whether or not they are prepared to hire friends. If there are positions available that suit you both then you may well be placed at the same camp, but this is upon the discretion of that individual Camp Director and not Camp America.

Yes they can. Meeting a camp director and having an interview is a one on one processed so parents are not allowed in the main room with you. There will be a parent area where they can wait and you can go speak to them for advice.
 

• Do your research prior to attending the fair.
• Look at the camps in attendance to see which ones fit you best.
• Be prepared with questions you may have.
• Do not limit yourself to one camp.
• If your first and second choice camp does not offer you a placement look at other camps in attendance.
• Ask for help from Camp America representatives!

Camp America Job Fairs are the largest in-person summer camp hiring events in the UK, with 100+ camps attending.

Yes - camps attend specifically to recruit staff. Many applicants get hired during or shortly after the fairs.

Other organisations may run events, but Camp America Job Fairs are the biggest in scale, the longest-running, and the only ones bringing this many camps to the UK in person.

We don’t compare ourselves - we just do it bigger.
