Camp Overview
Camp Bob is a residential summer camp for campers who would not normally have the opportunity to attend camp. Many of our campers come from low-income families, homeless shelters, or have other experiences that qualify them to attend our camp. All of Camp Bob's campers attend camp at no cost to them, or their families. Our camp activities are similar to that of traditional summer camps, including but not limited to hiking, swimming, climbing, team building, canoeing, and more. A summer at Camp Bob is one that is meaningful for staff and lasts a lifetime for campers. We are located in the mountains of North Carolina, on the eastern side of the United States. Our campus is surrounded by beautiful natural resources and is the perfect location for those who love the outdoors

Counselors are expected to stay in cabins with campers throughout the week. Our camp week is normally Monday through Friday, but on occasions extends to one more day. That being said, most staff have time off on the weekends.
