Camp Overview

“International Gymnastics Camp has a great variety of staff positions! We are a traditional summer camp that specializes in artistic gymnastics, so that means we have all the amazing traditional recreation activities as well as our campers getting to share their passion for the sport of gymnastics here in the beautiful Pocono Mountains!

Each summer we hire general counselors, gymnastics coaches, lifeguards, dance teachers, photographers, kitchen crew, housekeepers, maintenance staff, high ropes instructors, camp store staff, day camp counselors, RNs, Student ATs, Certified ATs, and more!  

In 1971 the Klaus Family founded International Gymnastics Camp with a vision to build a place that united the gymastics world in a fun, kind, safe and positive environment. Nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, more than 150,000 campers and staff from over 60 countries have called IGC their home away from home.

As the only Accredited ACA Gymnastics Summer Camp, the Klaus Family has been pioneers of safety, wellbeing, and kindness in the gymnastics world since the beginning! IGC is also the only second-generation family-run gymnastics summer camp.

IGC is committed to providing a kind, healthy & safe environment for all our campers in all aspects of camp life. IGC programs across the board are built on the foundation of enriching every camper's love for gymnastics, developing social skills, making life long friendships, enhancing teamwork skills, gaining independence and making camp magic memories that last a lifetime.

With our Kount on Kindness initiative, IGC leads the way by teaching young people to take care of one another. Kount on Kindness is designed to create a workout and camp environment where everyone feels safe and accepted for a mutual sense of belonging, to celebrate team diversity and treat everyone with respect and kindness and to support a place where gymnasts, parents and staff work in harmony to promote kindness.

Our goal is that every camper leaves camp even more in love with gymnastics than when they arrive: inspired and motivated by their own accomplishments, the gymnasts they trained with at camp, and our IGC staff's kindness, encouragement, and support.”
