Camp Overview
Camp Winona programs allow girls who have completed ages 5-17 to explore the wonders of the outdoors in a fun, safe, traditional camp setting. Located in Hughesville, MD, Winona offers a wide variety of programs ranging from week-long themed specialty activities to two-night mini camps. While at camp, girls and staff will stay in glen shelters and enjoy a variety of meal options including traditional family style dining in the camp dining hall and cookouts/pack outs with their program.
At camp, girls have the opportunity to swim daily, tie-dye and try other crafts, experiment with science and technology, explore nature and the environment, work together on team building challenges, and shoot archery. Campers may also see one of the magical mermairies (the camp mascot) as they hike to visit at least one of Camp Winona’s destination locations during their stay: Fossil Creek, Wish Tree, Mermairy House or Hammock Village.
