Camp Overview
Camp Wasiu II, founded in 1988, is a beautiful, high-mountain overnight camp located in the Tahoe National Forest. At Camp Wasiu II, campers live in platform tents in units of 8-24 girls and 2-4 staff. Facilities include a
swimming pool, large dining hall/recreation area, health building, and bathroom buildings (with flushing toilets and hot showers). Our 45-acre property has incredible hiking trails, premier stargazing, and a pristine lake
within walking distance.
At Camp Wasiu II, girls will have the opportunity to swim in the pool, boat on Packer Lake, scramble across our low-ropes challenge course, roast s'mores over a campfire, hit a bulls-eye in archery, work on Girl Scout badges, and so much more.

STAFF TIME OFF
Staff receive two-hours off per day and 24 hours off within a two-week period.
STAFF QUALITIES
We're looking for staff members who love the outdoors and are passionate about empowering girls and young women. Successful summer camp staff members can take initiative, be flexible and resilient, think outside the box, put campers first, contribute to the camp community, and serve as a positive role models for girls.
