Camp Overview
Camp Timberlane is located on 324 scenic acres in beautiful Firelands Reserve in Wakeman, Ohio. The property includes miles of hiking trails, creeks and ravines, and is home to a variety of plants and wildlife. The camp grounds include an in-ground pool with shower house, splash pad, meandering 6-acre lake, year-round archery range, boating, challenge course, and observatory. Camping units are distinctive and unique, featuring cabin style units, tree house units and a platform tent unit. Timberlane also offers exciting activities/places to see including; Windy Hill Amphitheater, Butterfly Garden, Sports Shed with equipment, Fishing in Lake Timberlane, Ed Lampe Reflection Center, Gnome Village, Timberlane Hiking Trail System, and in the winter months Sledding Hill and the Natural Ice Skating Rink.
STAFF TIME OFF
Staff receive 2 hours off each day and a 24 hour time off period per week.
STAFF QUALITIES
Camp Timberlane is looking for young, self-starting women who are enthusiastic, enjoy working with kids, have an appreciation for the great outdoors, and a have good sense of humor. At Camp Timberlane, our staff thrives by working together as a team, so the ability to effectively communicate and work well with other's are important qualities to have. Any interest, knowledge, or skill in camp program fields is welcome!
