If you're looking for a camp with fun and challenging activities, great food, cozy, woodsy cabins and tents, awesome counselors, new friends, and lots of laughs, then you've come to the right place!
At Camp Oneka, we feel that a traditional, well rounded, summer camp program which encourages campers to try everything is best. At Oneka, your cabin mates are your activity mates as you spend your days trying new activities and developing new skills. Campers will play field games, climb the tower, take hikes and trips, create art and crafts projects, and act or sing on Oneka’s stage. One of the best parts of camp is the fun of finding new friends, being part of the 118 year old tradition of the Red and White, and making memories that last a lifetime.
Counselors live in the cabins and tents with the campers and provide structure, support, and direction to their campers. Every counselor is also an activity specialist with specific skills to lead and teach a program activity. Along with cabin and program counselors, two fulltime nurses (RN’s) are available at all times, and additional administrative and out of cabin staff include our Program Director (responsible for daily schedules), Trips Director, maintenance staff, and a food service staff, who provide 3 delicious meals and snacks each day.
