Camp Overview
Laughing Waters is a summer camp for Girl Scouts aged 6-16. We offer week-long programs, ranging from cooking to boating, horseback riding, ropes courses, and dance. We encourage girls to learn self-reliance, gain new skills, make new friends, and have a safe place to be themselves. Our campers and staff create special bonds by living, working, playing, and learning together. Come help us “builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place”.
STAFF TIME OFF
Staff time off varies day by day. You will work with your co-counselors and supervisors to make a schedule. Everyone receives one weeknight off a week, starting when your campers are settled for the night, between 9-10pm. You receive a two hour time off period a day. All camp staff have from Friday evening to Sunday morning off each week (unless working a weekend program which then your time off is transferred to the weekdays).
STAFF QUALITIES
A camp Laughing Waters Staff member should have a strong work ethic, be excited to work with young girls and be willing to live and work outside. We want people that are strong, resilient and dedicated to the mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and charter to make the world a better place.
