Camp Overview
Camp Ladore is owned and operated by The Salvation Army. Situated among picturesque mountain ranges it consists of approximately 1,200 acres of land surrounding a 365 acre lake. Our programs take full advantage of these natural resources for contributing to the spiritual, educational, social, and recreational needs of every camper. The fact that The Salvation Army is a religious organization makes it possible for its camping program to integrate concern for the spiritual dimension of life. We believe in God, His word and what it teaches, and a pattern of living exemplified by Jesus Christ. An integrated Christian Education program provides the opportunity for spiritual decision and growth.
STAFF TIME OFF
Every camp session is four and a half days long, with one session being five and a half days. During the sessions, counselors are scheduled for a 3 hour break in the daytime, plus free-time some nights.
