Camp Overview
Camp Horseshoe, one of Wisconsin's premier residential camps, is a spirited, sports-oriented boys camp that emphasizes participation, healthy competition, and a well-rounded summer experience.
Camp Horseshoe is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, meaningful traditions, and unique philosophy. Whether it be coaching athletics, or leading one of our wilderness trips, the opportunities to have an impact on a boy's life are tremendous. Our campers and staff call the Horseshoe experience “amazing”, “indescribable” and “the best place on earth.” Our staff of 100+ provide a safe, fun, and rewarding experience for our camper’s ages 8-16. Staff Time Off
Staff members enjoy three nights out per week, along with two full days off per session, one early out per session, and additional time off during pre-camp orientation and between sessions. The areas surrounding camp are stunning, offering plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, recreational activities, and relaxation. Camp also provides transportation to downtown Rhinelander, just 15 minutes away, making it easy to explore local shops, restaurants, and attractions during your time off
