Camp Overview
Camp Horizons is an overnight co-ed camp for kids ages 6-16. We offer 1 or 2-week sessions and run seven different activity departments: Aquatics, Equestrian, Performing Arts, Outdoors, Science & Technology, Sports, and Visual Arts. Staff live in cabins with a co-counselor and up to 10 children and also serve as activity teachers during the day.
STAFF TIME OFF
Staff will receive at least 1 hour off per day on camp, and will receive 24 hours off each weekend where they are permitted to leave camp.
STAFF QUALITIES
We are looking for staff who are passionate about working in the outdoors with campers of all ages and interest. We welcome all campers and staff regardless of their gender identity, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. Camp Horizons counselors need to be committed to providing a safe experience for every type of camper. We look for staff who will be mentors to every camper regardless of their beliefs.
