Camp Hoffman is Girl Scout Day and overnight camp located in Rhode Island serving girls and gender expansive youth from age 5 to 17. Our Mission: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Goals for Summer Camp: Summer camp at the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) offers a wide range of programs to our Girl Scouts. Although each of these programs offers different kinds of opportunities for each camper, they all share basic goals. The primary goal of all our programs is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character while exploring and educating girls about the great outdoors. Education not only means sharing information but also helping to create a greater awareness and appreciation of the natural world and foster an attitude of responsible stewardship towards the earth. In addition, our programs emphasize developing a sense of community among our campers by encouraging personal and social growth. Throughout all programs we try to provide an experience of fun and adventure within an atmosphere of trust and safety.

Staff Time Off
Counselors/staff our off from on Friday at the conclusion of our staff meeting (6pm) to Sunday mid-day (typically noon) - One evening per week off beginning at 5:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) with a set curfew - On weekdays (M-TH) without the evening off staff will receive 2 hours of break each day. - On Fridays Staff will receive 1 hour (due to being off at 6pm)
