Camp Ballibay is a true haven for young people with a love for the arts, and a perfect choice for families seeking a safe, friendly, and creative arts camp for their kids to explore the visual arts, dance, theater, or rock music. We offer deep, engaging programs for young artists at all levels in a traditional summer arts camp setting. Young artists ages 8-16 come from all over North and South America, Europe, and Asia to spend 2-7 weeks on our pristine mountaintop campus in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Established in 1964, we have a long history as a diverse, tolerant, and safe camp for creative kids. Since 2011 we've been the #1-rated arts camp in North America.
STAFF TIME OFF
Staff will have one day off per week during the regular camp season (for each six full days worked, there will be one day off). On the last week of your stay, your day off is your departure day beginning at 1:00 PM. The particular day of the week is at the discretion of the camp, and your day off will change from week to week. Days off begin after breakfast until 1:00 AM curfew. Nights off begin at 8:30, typically two nights a week, until 1:00 AM curfew. Days off are paid days. Arrival days are paid days, even if no work is scheduled for that day. The 1:00 AM curfew for all staff is strictly enforced and should be considered by the staff person before signing this agreement.
We seek young artists who are passionate about teaching the next generation of artists. We are an extremely neurodiverse and gender diverse campus, and welcome al members of the LGBTQ+ community. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options at every meal.
