Camp Overview
Camp Augusta's Mission - To reclaim and foster the beauty, wonder, awe, potential, and innocence of childhood. There is simply too much about Augusta that makes us special... So, here is the link that describes all the ways we stand apart from the other camps :)
Staff live in cabins with 5 campers when in session. The cabins are open air and have no electricity. We have over 150 activities and you get to choose which ones you learn and teach! Fire spinning, 100ft ziplines, aerial silks, blacksmithing, mountain biking, bee keeping, lake front and many more! Staff have full access to the main office building, lodge and staff house that have electricity, WiFi and computers to access 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All bath houses have electricity and staff have access to all of them.

Staff Time Off
Counselors have 1 hour off each day and an additional 2 hours off at night 3 days a week. Staff also have one 24-hour period off each week. We are only 40 mins from Lake Tahoe and 2 hours from San Francisco!
Staff Qualities
We hire people not skills! We are looking for staff members who are excited to try a variety of new activities, are willing to go deep and work with children in a meaningful way. We are willing and able to train anyone in anything! If you are excited for an adventure, this is your place!
