Gwen - Humans of Camp America

I was 18 years old, nervous yet excited and it turned out to be the best summer I have ever had. At the camp I met Simon, a fellow counsellor from England. It wasn’t long until we started dating and had committed to seeing each other when we returned home. We then continued our relationship with myself living in Scotland and Simon living in England for 5 years. During that time we returned to camp twice and enjoyed it just as much as the first time, even missing my graduation to return to camp. We then lived together for the past three years and on our eight year anniversary in Florida we got engaged. We are looking to get married Florida where it all began, and this is all thanks to Camp America.
