The UK's Biggest Summer Camp Job Fairs Are Back. Get Hired for Summer 2027!
Around 60 US summer camps. Three UK cities. One massive weekend of hiring.
Want to spend summer 2027 working at a summer camp in America?
What if you could meet your future employer face-to-face, find a camp you love and get hired on the spot?
That's exactly what could happen at a Camp America Job Fair this November.
We're bringing around 60 US summer camps to Edinburgh, Bristol and Birmingham, all looking for people to join their teams for summer 2027.
And here's what makes our Job Fairs different.
The sheer choice of camps.
We've been connecting applicants with US summer camps for over 50 years, and our Job Fairs have been bringing camps and applicants together since 1986.
We're talking a huge range of camps, different roles and real opportunities to find somewhere that's right for you.
Because getting hired is exciting. Getting hired at the right camp? Even better.
More camps. More choice. More opportunities.
Not all summer camps are the same. Not even close.
Some are tucked away in forests or beside beautiful lakes. Others are all about competitive sports, outdoor adventure, performing arts or giving children incredible experiences.
And the people? Every camp has its own personality.
That's why having a huge choice of camps matters.
At Camp America, we're proud to bring together one of the biggest selections of US summer camps you'll find at a UK hiring event.
Instead of meeting just a handful of employers, you'll have the opportunity to explore a huge variety of camps, discover roles you might never have considered and find somewhere you genuinely connect with.
You might arrive thinking you know exactly what kind of camp you want.
You might leave having fallen in love with one you didn't even know existed.
That's the beauty of meeting camps in person.
5 reasons you NEED to come to a Camp America Job Fair
1. You could get hired on the spot ⚡
Yes, really.
US camp directors aren't travelling across the Atlantic just to hand out leaflets.
They're coming to hire their summer 2027 teams.
You'll get the chance to introduce yourself, chat about your experience and potentially walk away with a job offer.
Imagine having your summer plans sorted before the year is even over.
Pretty good feeling, right?
2. Meet the people who could be your future employers 🏕️
You can scroll through camp websites and watch videos all day.
But nothing beats actually meeting the people who run them.
Ask what a typical day looks like. Find out what makes their camp different. Discover what they're looking for in their staff.
And most importantly, get a feel for whether you'd enjoy spending your summer there.
Because your camp placement isn't just about getting a job. It's about finding the right people and the right environment for you.
3. Stand out from the crowd 🙌
Your Camp America application tells camps about your skills, experience and availability.
But meeting face-to-face gives you the chance to show them something else.
You.
Your personality, your enthusiasm and what you'd bring to their team.
You don't need a perfect interview speech or a CV packed with experience.
Camp directors are looking for people who are responsible, enthusiastic and ready to get involved.
A great conversation could make all the difference.
4. Discover summer jobs you didn't know existed
Think summer camp jobs are just about looking after children?
Think again.
US summer camps recruit for loads of different roles, including:
- 🏊 Lifeguarding and waterfront activities
- ⚽ Football, tennis and other sports
- 🧗 Outdoor adventure and climbing
- 🎭 Performing arts, music and drama
- 🎨 Arts, crafts and creative activities
- 🏕️ General camp counselling and working with children
Different camps need different skills.
And with so many camps attending, there's plenty to explore.
You might have exactly the skills a camp is looking for.
5. Find the RIGHT camp, not just any camp
This is something we're really passionate about.
At Camp America, we don't believe getting placed as quickly as possible should be the only goal.
We believe getting placed at the right camp matters more.
It's where you'll live, work, make friends and spend a huge part of your summer.
Our Job Fairs give you the opportunity to meet multiple camps, compare what they're offering and make an informed choice about where you'd love to work.
And with such a huge selection attending, you've got plenty of opportunities to find your fit.

How to give yourself the best chance of getting hired
Want to make the most of your Job Fair experience?
Here's what we'd recommend.
1. Get your Camp America application ready.
Make sure your skills, experience and availability are up to date. The more camps know about you, the easier it is for them to see if you're a good match.
2. Research the camps attending.
Take a look at the camp line-up before you arrive. Check which roles they're hiring for and shortlist a few you'd love to meet.
3. Keep an open mind.
Don't limit yourself to one type of camp. Some of the best opportunities might come from conversations you weren't expecting.
4. Be yourself.
Camp directors want to get to know the real you. Be friendly, ask questions and show them why you'd make a great addition to their team.
5. Talk to more than one camp.
With so many camps to meet, make the most of it! The first camp you speak to might be great, but the next one could be an even better fit.
Can I attend if I haven't applied to Camp America yet?
Yes!
You can register to attend a Job Fair even if you haven't started your Camp America application.
However, we'd definitely recommend getting your application underway before the event.
That way, camps can learn more about you, see your experience and potentially move things forward much faster.
And don't worry if you don't get hired on the day.
Our US placement team continues working with camps throughout the season to help applicants find suitable placements.
The Job Fair is a brilliant opportunity, but it's not your only chance to get placed.
Your summer job in America could be one conversation away.
Think about where you could be next summer.
Working at a US summer camp. Meeting people from around the world. Learning new skills. Making memories. And getting the chance to travel around America after camp.
It could all start this November.
Around 60 camps. Three cities. One huge opportunity to get hired.
And with Camp America, you're not just looking for any summer job.
You're looking for the right summer.
So don't just scroll past another summer opportunity.
Come and meet the camps.
