What did summer camp teach you?
There is always a solution. The experience is what you make of it. Sometimes it best to say nothing at all. They have 3 hours check-ins at airports for a reason. Hat and Sunscreen are not optional. Carry-on luggage only is the way to go.

A piece of advice...
Never let the seemingly endless application process deter you. Yes it's long/hard/complex and at times seemingly ridiculous but it's is SO worth it.
