Getting to Camp
If you add Camp America flights to your package, we’ll give you full instructions for what will happen when you land and how to get to camp. You don’t need to worry about when to fly or where the nearest airport is (especially as most camps are in remote locations). Where possible we’ll also arrange for you to travel on a group flight with other people attending your camp, so the excitement really can start before take-off!
Returning Home
If you choose the Camp America flight option, your return flight from New York to your UK departure airport is included too. You can pick a date of your choosing up to 30 days after the end of camp, or you can upgrade to our flexible flight option and choose your return date and location with just two weeks’ notice! My first year at camp was after being hired at a Camp America recruitment fair. Within a week of the campers arriving, they’d become little brothers which made returning the easiest decision I’d ever made.
The best thing about working at a summer camp is getting to literally be a kid again - we did so many activities at camp from paddle boarding and low ropes to performing arts!
Staff started camp with a mix of experience but none of that mattered. You are well trained and everyone supports each other creating a close-knit community like no other.
