This covers you for the entire time you’re on our programme, including your travel after camp but not exceeding 153 days. The insurance meets US Department of State regulations for J1 visa sponsorship.

Everyone is required to submit a Camp America medical form, which needs to be completed by a GP.

Once you have accepted your placement and your police check and references have been verified, you will receive a ‘Placement Pack' from Camp America which will include your all important Visa Paperwork and instructions on how to apply and book your Embassy appointment.

Camp America holds around 10 Pre-Camp Meet Ups throughout the UK from March – May. It’s a great opportunity to meet people going to your camp and get all your questions answered!

To make it really easy for you Camp America can book and arrange your flights to camp. So you don’t have to pay for the flights upfront, the cost is charged to your camp.

Included in this package is a return flight from a New York airport. In order to select this option you need to let us know the date you wish to return before you leave for camp. Alternatively you can purchase a ‘Flexible Flight Pass’ that allows you to depart from different airports across the USA at a time and date to suit you. With a ‘Flexible Flight Pass’ you can chose a return flight as late as 2 weeks before you want to fly home.
