Phoebe

Hey! I’m Phoebe, I’m 19 years old and I’m from South West England. This will be my second Summer swapping the Devonshire countryside for Stokes State Forest, NJ, and I can’t wait! Last summer completely changed my life- I never used to see myself as being the sort of person to work with kids, but when you realise the lasting, positive impact you can have on their lives in just one week, it’s impossible to not want to do it as often as you can! I made friends for life, from all over the world during last summer, and got to see some of the iconic American sights. I could talk about camp forever, so I guess being a storyteller is going to suit me pretty well! I’m currently on my gap year, and have been fortunate enough to go to Sri Lanka, India and Uganda on volunteering projects throughout the year, before I head to Reading University in September. I would love to work for a charity in the future, or maybe even in Government, dependent on where my degree takes me! I’m super excited to be able to show you all some real camp magic this summer.
