Lake Delaware Boys Camp
Hi, I’m Noah! 19 and from sunny south England, this is my second year heading off to Lake Delaware Boys Camp, New York.
This year I’m sharing my experience of everything from life on camp to after camp travel to aerial views from my drone. I am type-1 diabetic so I will also be sharing my experience with a twist; offering advice, tips and help so that you can own your summer with diabetes.
Lake Delaware Boys Camp is all about sport, fun and community and is based in the beautiful Catskill mountains. It’s a camp for 8-16 year olds and emphasises supporting campers from under-privileged backgrounds. Last year I had an absolute blast, the staff, campers and friendships I made meant going back was a no-brainer. I’m starting uni in September to study computer science and as well as playing competitive badminton, I play volleyball, run and am a huge fan of all music and enjoy playing the piano. Last year I road-tripped across California and this year I’m planning to travel around the east coast!
I’ll be sharing my experience through Instagram and Snapchat so follow me and hit me with any diabetes, travelling or camp questions!
