​Hi! My name is El, I’m 23 and from Manchester, England. This summer will be my second at an incredible day camp in New York called Green Chimneys.

Last year I was a special needs counsellor and part time fencing specialist and I cannot wait for round 2 as a full time Fencing Specialist!

Since camp I have been working as a marketing officer and support worker at a small mental health and wellbeing centre and hope to one day become a clinical psychologist.

My time at camp last year and my travels across America were in a word AMAZING and left me wishing that I had applied for Camp America way sooner! A particular highlight from my time in America last year was ziplining across Niagara Falls during a weekend trip organised by my camp.

I am very much looking forward to summer and getting to share my next adventures with you all!
