Camp is a place where you not only develop lasting friendships (from all around the world), but you grow and develop within yourself, gaining lifelong skills and experiences that will always stay with you.
The best part about Camp Emerson is seeing our campers learn, grow and find themselves. Day one: watching a new camper find their way, watching the first introduction and interactions between bunk mates, and walking past a bunk porch with a counselor teaching a camper how to tie his shoelaces. It could be a particularly anxious kid that is developing their first friendship; or campers with allergies overcoming nerves when eating at camp for the first time. Then fast forward to the final day, where everyone is holding onto the fact we never say "goodbye", only "see you soon".
