I was hired at the Edinburgh Recruitment Fair in 2013. Initially I had ruled out Special Needs camps for my summer but there was just something about the stall for Camp Loyaltown that caught my attention. I went over and spoke to them, got hired & it was the best thing I could ever have done.

I spent 3 incredible summers helping teach children and adults with special needs how to work with and ride horses. I had the most incredible experience - I fell in love with the place, the people and the whole experience! I miss the campers and other counsellors all year round; they feel like family! This summer I am switching things up by going to a different camp, but still a special needs camp and still in upstate New York!

I cannot recommend Special Needs camps enough to those of you who are applying! You will honestly not regret it!"
