Camp Overview
Camp Hidden Falls is a sleepaway camp program. Our camp runs sessions of varying length, with campers signing up for stays of 1-3 weeks. Our camp program is traditional, offering participants the opportunity to sleep outdoors, try archery, hiking, hatchet throwing, and visit the coast. Our campers swim in the waterfall, cook over the campfire, make crafts and explore nature. Our participants are ages 9-17, and our camp welcomes anyone who identifies with the girl experience. We follow a culture code that is deeply focused on community, inclusion and belonging. In our staff, we look for role models who are eager to connect with campers, help them feel seen, heard, and accepted, and provide a fun and memorable experience in the outdoors.

Staff Time Off
Each day, you will receive 2 hours off as personal time-- for showering, checking emails, etc. You will also have one night off per week (from 6pm-12am) and most Saturdays off. During these off times, you will have access to the staff lounge, which has wifi, electricity, and a small kitchenette—as well as a set of showers reserved for staff only.
Staff Qualities
We are looking for staff who are genuinely excited to be working with and mentoring youth. Staff should be flexible and willing to take on various roles and responsibilities and communicate needs with co-counselors and supervisors. Staff at Camp Hidden Falls live in tents or hammocks. These accommodations are very rustic—they do not have electricity, running water, etc. You will be provided with a camp mattress. Each living unit has a bathroom with flush toilets and sinks. Staff live in separate tents from the campers, so you can expect to be housed with other counselors in a “staff tent”. Showers are located in the staff house and can be used during your time off. Meals are prepared and cooked in unit with campers. We serve kid-friendly meals—you should expect things like grilled cheese, tacos, chicken nuggets, pasta, etc. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions, including (but not limited to): allergies, vegetarianism, veganism, and gluten free diets. We will provide any training and/or certifications that are needed.
