Return postal visa question

by kimberley6354 » 18 Mar 2014, 18:32

So I sent off for my visa to be processed with a courier last week. I've just had an email now to say that it is in it's way back to me and I'll get it tomorrow.
Am I right in thinking that the visa has been approved as they haven't said otherwise? :D
Anyone else got theirs back yet?

You should be able to check on the Visa website, but to be safe, i'd check it when you pick it up. I don't think they tell you otherwise.

Bit confused about the post visa service.. do we pay the £100 free on the appointment booking website? also I assume I opt for the courier service.

I had a nightmare sorting my visa last year so i'm just double checking everything haha :D

lucy you pay the 100 on the website that camp america tell you to go onto in the instructions from the pack, you can pay an extra 22 for it to be posted back to your house.
once you have paid and picked a depo near you to drop it off to, you print off the receipt and something with bar codes that will be sent to your inbox

Hi,

Where did you find the address to send it to? Or do you just take it to the depot and they know what to do with it?

I cant seem to find any clear info on what this service is about :(

Just take it to the depot, they know the address, they also have an envelope to put it in. As long as you have all the things they ask for then you just need to turn up at the depot with your bits of paper

yeh when you were paying for it, you picked a local DX Secure depo.
You actually need to take it to them (annoying i know, its the first time they have done it though, comes back in a third of the time it used to)

In one hand you should have all your forms and in the other the DX receipt.
when you give the reciept to them, they will scan it, give you an envelope and stick on the address.

hay presto its all done

Thanks folks.

I just noticed the link to the dx receipt form this morning. I am easily confused when things change. Its only an hour to the nearest depot, which is much better than a full day trip to the embassy again.
