hey :)

ok so did you finish the whole thing and print the confirmation thing at the end? If so then you don't need to get it back up! - i think i got an email trough saying it had worked? If you hadn't finished it you can use the id they give you at the beginning to get it back... there are a couple of options on how to re-load it but you don't have to save it to a usb!

....sorry its a bit vague but i hope it helps! :p

You don't need to take the whole form in to the embassy, but you do need the printout to say that you have completed it... It should be called a ds160 receipt or something and have your picture on the front.

Thanks for your responses, i was only asking because on the powerpoint on the visa details page it says its best to have it incase they need u to change anything on the day, as they may not have time to on the day which could result in being cancelled :?

I wouldn't worry about it, I never saved it either but got my visa just fine.
You won't have to change it unless you accidentally ticked that our a terrorist or moonshine runner or something.

http://london.usembassy.gov/

go to this website, then visa, then non-immigrant visas

then go down to the table and in the visa category find J-1 visa
exchange visitor, academics

and then follow the steps.

hope that helps :)
