Visa Appointment - Mobile Phones

by Maria0279 » 24 May 2007, 23:02

Hey there, I'm flying to London from Glasgow for my visa appointment and I need to take my mobile for emergency purposes, incase something happens to me! It says we shouldnt take mobiles but I was wondering if you can leave your bag and mobile in lockers or something at the embassy? I really dont want to not take my mobile, and if someone knows anything on this then please help :D

If it is a J-Day (lots of people from Camp America, Camp Leaders, CCUSA, Bunac etc.) then you'll be fine as the Camp America reps outside take care of everything. If it isn't a J-Day then I have no idea, sorry.

In london if its a j-day as darren said the CA reps wil look after your phone...if not security will take it for you and give you a number tag thing which you give back to get your phone back after your appointment. Dont worry, i wouldn't travel to London alone without my phone! You can take it, its fine :-)

Yeah, me too. I went to the trouble of not bringing mine because I was worried, and then found that many had, and they just had to put it in a plastic bag, or give it to a CA Rep.
