yeah i went through the forum and looked at the camps where ppl are flying out on my availability date or after and then i emailed from there

Hey feel sorry for me my application has been circulating since october and only a couple of weeks ago i was offered a ready steady go placement...but i still dont know where im goin, i've got my visa interview on fri, im just trying to stay positive cuz surely they wudnt hav arranged a visa appointment for me if i wasn't goin to get placed...right? lol

I have emailed 9 camps tht use CA and no-one has got back to me. I found out the camp intrested in me does not use CA but are still intrested. Any1 know how that would work :?

You can't go to a camp that doesn't work with Camp America. You would have had to have gone through an agency it does use so just hold out for Camp America to find you a place now.

I'm trying to write an email to send to camps. so far ive done 2 drafts :lol: the first sounded too cheesy :lol: and i thought the second might have come across as cheeky :oops: so maybe i should just leave it and keep waiting xx

hey I just got placed!!!!!! Seriously I defo recommend writing to camps it worked for me!!!And i wasn on guranteed placement!!!

Thats me placed aswell :D however i wrote to 12 camps and the camp that placed me is one i didnt even write too lol so just shows you. I would also recomend writing to camps tho.

Incidently, how are you finding these camps you are applying to??



I'm desperate to find a place, and I hate the fact that after having to sort out EVERYTHING for camp so far, including the whole visa business, there is still a chance I might not even be going. :(

Im exactly the same!
Had my visa interview on fri, i was accepted but i still hav no place, iv even changed my availibilty date to go sooner, but still nothing, plus im on the ready steady go option so i could literally go at netime, but with my avail date becoming closer im so worried i wont get an offer

I had my visa interview on Friday, too. I was so nervous! But so excited to be accepted, I walked out with the biggest smile on my face. :D



I've been checking my CAD page, like, every other minute! My availability date isn't until the 20th though. So I guess there is still time. But even so. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
