Iv emailed a few aswell I'm fed up waiting lol. A camp called camp mariastella is intrested in me but does any1 know if they use CA I'm confused lol what happens if they dont :?

did you tell them you are with CA? If you did and they werent with them, they would have told you (it happened to me!)

I told them I was with CA but in there reply they didnt mention CA they just want my number and me to fill out an application :? I cant find it on the camp bit which makes me think they dont use CA.

im on gauranteed status and i emailed one camp who said that they were going to look at my application asap but havent heard anything else from them and dunno whether to email any others or not

Laura, camps dont tend to let people know which organisations they work with so there is a good chance they may. They may only recruit few international or maybe the other internationals havent come across the forum yet. If they want you to fill out an app this is promising but dont forget you can always look at other camps in the mean time!

Lauren, at the end of the day you are on guaranteed so you will be going to America this summer. However if you are impatient, why not just get in contact with a few, it shows you are eager etc!

yeah like i said i emailed one who said they were going to look at my application asap but they are quite slow in replying. i was doing a bit of research last nite and found a couple more but dunno whether to wait and hear from the first camp i emailed which could take awhile or email the others now

If your on gauranteed status does it not mean you are deff going anyway so surely theyd av to find you a camp.

y not give them an email as well and see if you get any replies?
I emailed about 12 in total and the one which I am now going to, placed me after 1 and a half hrs of recieving my emai. I did it because the main advantage is you can get dates to suit you and in area you want to go to etc :)

Im off to camp Sabra and I fly on Monday!
Also another handy thing I found, if you want to make sure they are with CA, go through the camps named on the forum and see if they are suitable for you etc.
