Oh I wish someone else would join this forum from England so I have a buddy to fly over there with :( How come you're flying to LA Aliya? New York is much closer! Oh I'm so excited! Eeeek! Where are you thinking of travelling after camp Aliya? I want to travel down the east coast from New Jersey to Philadelphia then to Washington DC and then maybe on further down. I would love to get to Florida but don't think I'll be able to afford it! x

haha! it will only be a stop over though! hopefully u wont be there for that long! Cause u wil be flying to NY though? I havent booked my flights yet, I think im only going to fly one way, cause I want to travel afterwards! and i have a friend In canada who i want to see! I was trying to get a direct flight to NY, but it would be a LLOONNGGG 22 hours non stop from Syd! but its still a long time, if i do stop over at LA on the way! Hey emily, thats where i want to go aswell! We might be able to do day trips there while we are at camp maybe? or do it at the end of camp! I want to see LA and vegas aswell!! oh so excited. Em, there is a few ppl from engalnd going I think. Thats what craig said when i spoke to him. So i wouldnt worry, there is still plenty of time for PPl to get on the Forum! U will be fine! Isnt there a particular flight from England that has every one On CA on there? 4.5 months to go!!! YYEEEEEHHHAAAAAA!!!!

There will be quite a few flights with all the English CA people on - depending on when people fly out. I hope people sign up to this forum soon!

I don't think we'll be able to go any further than New York on ours days off as all the other major cities are like a 3 hour drive away so my journey is planned for after camp so if either of you want to join me going down the east coast that will be cool beans :D I've been to Vegas and LA before. Vegas is amazing it's just nothing like anywhere else I've ever been and LA was actually pretty shitty to be honest. San Francisco is much nicer.

Thanks for getting back in touch Bernadette. I guess its more relevant to the English guys that im trying to get advice from. Have you made your travel arrangments already? as it happens, im sure if we was all to travel as a group after placement although we would fly on different airplanes we could get a flight from the same airport? I will probably get in contact with Camp America and see what they say.

Hey, Danielle,

That's good news you have been placed at HHDC. I was there this summer and had a great time! I have not decided as yet what my plans are for next summer but there is a possibility, I may well return. Have you had any others offers from other camps? x

Hi Charlie :)

Yeah Herb rang me last week and he was my first offer but I accepted as i hear offers are often hard to come by and it sounds like a sweet deal!

Where are you from? What was the house thing like to live in and what did you do at camp?

xx

Thats good, well done. Your right, it is pretty hard to get others but you've done well to be offered a place so early!!

I'm from England; South part called Hertfordshire which is near London. The house? it was a basement!! haha not the best but it was ok. Good banter with the others!! I was a Swim Instructor, the kids were great to work with - You will enjoy it!

:) x
