He was deadly serious as well, and he was 11 as well!

Even when I showed him a map he stuck to his view, although I reckon that was just so he did not have to admit he was wrong!

one girl asked me what language do we speak in england. seriously. she wasnt joking. i nearly died from the struggle to keep my face straight...

summer 2008- my camp is armenian, and they have some crazy names,
we had a danila (prounounced dan-eee-la) and ginevat (pronounced jin-ah-vaart)
armenia, (an incredibly annoying girl who was actually named after her country, i thought this was hilrious, i was like imagining myself introuducing my self like 'hi, im united kingdom, nice to meet you!' errr, NO.
anyway we had:-
njdeh (prounounced niijsh-day)
tamar (tam-aarr)
aris (aarr-ees)
haig (hiiyg)
im sure we had some wierder ones ill try to think of them :D

lol you'd be surprised how many english people dont know there are starbucks in england!
on the coach on the way to london for my visa, there were 2 girls in front of me with their mum. they must have been about 14/15. anyway, the coach drove past a starbucks in london and they were both like 'ooh look, starbucks!' they were genuinely excited because they thought starbucks was only in london and america lol.

I think a few years back they were few and far between. But my local town, Basingstoke, has turned into coffee town, with two Starbucks, Costas and Neros. Obviously someone thing we don't drink enough!
