What is Camp Nesher like?

by Carla0809 » 02 May 2008, 00:22

Hey all,

I have been offered a position to instruct swimming/lifeguard on the water front. I am just wondering what the camp is like and would any one recommend it?

Look forward to hearing from you,
Carla

Ahh fatastic...got lots of questions haha...
do i have to wear swimming costumes, or are we allowed to wear bikinis?
what are the tents like?
do you need to take any like fancy dress clothes and accessories? only as i've read about superhero days etc...?
Sure more will come!

il try an asnwer as best i can lol:
yes u do have to wear a swimming costume when u r working however bring a bikini aswell if u want as u get 2 wear it on ur days off wen ur dwn at the lake...
dont be to worried about the tents their not as bad as they sound. they r quite big and they fit 4 ppl in them and the toilets r quite close, unless u have the really far away one. the tent area is quite good as nobody really goes dwn there apart from international staff.
u dont have to bring any costumes or anything, although it never hurts to have anything like that as different events may b organised this year and colourful things for coulor war helps. i think the colours r blue and yellow if that helps.

anything else just ask. im not going back this year as i wanted to work with the kids ot roundlake for a differnt experience although im gona miss it loadz and cnt wait 2 visit it again. and the water staff last year were sound so hopefuly it will b the same for u this year.

xxx
