London Orientation - May 10th

by Laura2799 » 11 Apr 2008, 01:40

Hey guys,

Just wondering who is planning on going to this one. There's a couple of us planning on meeting at Waterloo before hand...

It seems so far away though!

If you're coming from Portsmouth a group of us are planning on meeting up at Waterloo.

I suggest we try and meet up 12-12.15 so that we have plenty of time to get there - don't wanna turn up later, lol!

And perhaps meet somewhere easy to find, like opposite the girls loos/Boots or something not quite in the middle of all the crowds, lol!

Takes about 8mins to get from Waterloo to Goodge St which is in walking distance... :D

So it does! So glad someone's on the ball, I totally hadn't thought to check, I was planning all this for one! Uh, I'm probably still gonna get the half ten in, so I'll get there about twenty to twelve, so then I can grab some food etc...Then yeah, guess we have to meet up fairly quick at 12ish so we can make our way over there etc!

It's 8 mins on the tube, then there's a walk, don't think it's too far but not sure quite how long it'll take!

So yeah, I say meet up opposite boots, like as if you were looking down to where Eurostar used to be, that way we won't be crowding people wanting to get into Boots etc. So yeah, I shall be there at 12, probably a bit before, and I plan on wearing a light blue and grey stripy vest/tank top thingy - if that helps?

So who else is getting to Waterloo about then?

I don't think they're vital, just reccomended/suggested. It could cover some useful stuff and gives you the chance to ask questions and stuff.

One of the other Laura's and I are thinking it'd be fun to hang out for a bit after orie is over (like in a park or something) and perhaps head off somewhere like Hard Rock to eat...
