What to take to orientation?

by Clare6216 » 26 Mar 2008, 16:32

Can anyone shed some light on what we need to take to the orientations (if anything) please?

and willingness to sing....they always make everyoen sing songs at orientation - but then thats what you'll be doing all summer - singing your heart out (and nobody really has an awesome voice but nobody cares at camp cos we're all having fun :-))

Question.. whats with all the singing? Why are camps so about singing? The only places I've ever been where people is my few brief visits to church when I was younger.. oh.. thats it actually.. I think primary school music class maybe.. that was 15 years ago.

Singing is a good way to get the kids unified, it is fun and it can help them kinds settle down before before meals and all camps etc and it is fun!

It might be worth taking a note book and pen - just in case - but I never needed on when I went to mine (but that wasnt special needs)

No parents went to the Belfast orientation but i've heard other people say parents have been to other orientations so if they want to go the CA people won't mind.
