Work for us
In 1969, a chartered plane full of excited young Brits set off for America on the first ever Camp America programme. Fifty years and 50 summers of fun later, Camp America has grown significantly. We now have offices in Australia, Germany, Poland, London and America and recruit over 8,000 young people every year from 25 countries worldwide!
In today’s world we’re even more passionate about the programme and what it represents. Unplugging from the online world, getting back to nature and coming together for a truly international experience. Hundreds of thousands have had the summer of a lifetime through Camp America. There really is no place like camp!
Throughout 2019 we'll be celebrating our 50th anniversary.
We’re kicking off the celebrations this January with our BIGGEST ever Recruitment Fairs. We've also got competitions, giveaways, scholarships and we'll be attempting to break a Guinness World Record in July! Watch this space.

“We’re incredibly excited and proud to celebrate our 50th Anniversary”, explains Janet Henniker Talle, Senior Vice President of Camp America. "We’ve had an amazing 50 years and we are proud we’ve remained relevant, in the ever-changing youth market, for fifty years!”
Throughout the year we'll be posting our favourite videos celebrating our 50th anniversary. Expect lots of unseen footage and testimonials from some of our most memorable alumni.
Don't just take our word for it! Have a read through our office and alumni blogs and discover why camp is so special to people.
If you’re reading this blog post, I believe I’ll put you into the following categories;
You worked at a summer camp..
You want to work at a summer camp..
You’re my mum.
If you don’t fall into one, I’ll bet you one friendship bracelet and a whole pack of double stuffed Oreos that you’ll slide nicely into number 2 once this blog post is over.
Every year we ask our alumni what they're most thankful to camp for, and the same thing always comes up - 'The friends I made at camp!' So, we asked them to share their thanks this year...
It’s 4th July and therefore we have all the #feels, and we’re sure you do too.
