Applications Update & Deadline

International staff is a key element of staffing for American camps. Even so, the employment situation in the United States is a somewhat challenging one, and we have set a March 1st deadline so as not to generate applications that have little chance of placement. While younger applicants with general skills are still in reasonable demand, we have received our quota of these applications early in the season. After March 1st we will accept select applicants, however, that provide evidence at interview that they can fill instructor positions in a variety of high demand skill areas.

Strong applicants are still welcome in the following areas, and those with 4 years of coaching experience stand the best chance of placement.

Waterfront
Sailing, motorboat, waterski, lifeguarding, windsurfing or a combination
Sports
Tennis, archery, fencing, riding, apparatus gymnastics, riflery
Arts & Crafts
Ceramics including kiln and wheel, or highly skilled specialists
Pioneering
Ropes & rock climbing

Other desirable backgrounds include

Religious
Practicing Christians, and individuals who are Jewish even if not actively practicing their faith
Special Needs
Individuals that can work with all disabilities and ages
Miscellaneous
Occupational therapy & home economics students, certified teachers, individuals with circus skills
"Wild Card"
Is your specialty or background not listed? Mature applicants who at interview can demonstrate highly unique suitability for camp or a certain segment of the camp industry will be considered.

Applications for those with skills in the above areas will be closing on 28th March. If you are interested in applying you must be interviewed as soon as possible - this involves completing your online application, paying your first payment online and also being interviewed by a local interviewer.
