"I got voted best cabin leader during 3rd sesssion and got voted as 2nd best cabin leader of the summer by the rest of the staff. The best thing was that the girl who came first had been there for 13 years. I feel I achieved alot this summer and can see the skills I've learnt impactng my life already."

The past seven summers have given me a major insight into American culture that I just wouldn't have had any other way. Each summer I have been able to spend time travelling across the U.S visiting a number of cities, landmarks and national parks. I have become aware of cultural differences that I never knew existed and I have learnt that the world is a much bigger and more diverse place than I realised.
