Located in the heart of Montgomery County PA, 45 minutes outside the city of Philadelphia, Camp Laughing Waters has 460 acres of gently rolling meadows, rippling creeks and cool forests—perfect for the beginning camper. Girls swim in the pool daily, and enjoy crafts, nature and singing around the campfire. Campers stay in platform tents (or cabins, where noted in descriptions) with other girls their age. Age: 18+
Counsellor Skills: General Counselors. outdoor cooking, horseback riding, Nature education, Songs, swimming, scuba diving, general sports, archery, experience with younger children (ages 6-13), leadership skills & public speakers, and desire to work on a team!
Number of Sessions: 7
Number of Campers: 120-200
Number of Staff: 60
Number of International Staff: 12
Time off policy:
Fri night and all Saturdays off, plus 2 hour breaks and one full night per week.
Staff Housing: Most staff sleep in platform tents
