This is an explanation of payments you will need to make to participate in the Camp America cultural exchange programme. You can find the amounts in pounds and euro on our main website.
The first payment demonstrates to Camp America that you are committed to applying to the programme and therefore it is mandatory that this payment is made prior to your interview. Once paid, you are then free to select an interviewer in your area who will review your application and get in touch with you to discuss a suitable interview date.
After your interview, your post-interview application form is reviewed by our UK office and is then sent to our American office - in preparation for consideration from Camp Directors.
If you are not accepted onto the programme or if we fail to find you a position at our affiliated camps in America, your first deposit will be returned to you.
Once you have confirmed your acceptance of a placement at one of our affiliated camps in America, you will be required to send us your second & third payments. These payments comprise the following:

Optional - Baggage Insurance
Your payments will all be forfeited if you drop out or cancel from the programme for anything other than medical emergency (please see Terms & Conditions)

The fee charged by the American Embassy changes from year to year and therefore, for information on the current fee, please review the 'What you pay' section, which can be found here.
