Two friends from Vanuatu & One HUGE American Dream

1000 miles from the east coast of Northern Australia lies the tiny Island nation of Vanuatu – which is home to Camp America’s newest recruits; Annie Berry and Jerry Brown.

Vanuatu? Probably never heard of it, right? So how did Annie and Jerry from a developing Island of less than 250,000 people find out about the Camp America programme? Well, our former interviewer, Richard Hinton, is currently working in Youth Theatre in Vanuatu and identified Annie and Jerry as 2 individuals who demonstrated all the hallmarks of a top, quality counsellor and Camp America participant, and the duo have since been placed at Camp Allegheny, in Pennsylvania.

Annie and Jerry are literally over the moon about the possibility of what is essentially the experience of a lifetime – but they need YOUR help!

Unemployment in Vanuatu is very high and minimum wage on the Island is around $115 per month, so without your support Annie and Jerry will not be able to realise their American dream.

They have set a fundraising target of $1500 and are already a 3rd of the way there - and to aid them further, we’d like to kindly ask you guys to dig into your pockets and give whatever you possibly can, to provide Annie and Jerry with the unique, cultural experience of a lifetime!
