Excellent opportunity for girls 18+ looking to work on Girl Scout camps in the USA! Join our International Youth Leadership Programme and get access to an invite only ‘Recruitment Event’ on October 19th, 2011 where you can get hired on the spot by Girl Scout Camp Directors flown over from America!

By taking part in the International Youth Leadership Programme you can expect the following:

- Access to an invite only event – this is your chance to secure your summer placement at a Girl Scout camp of your choice!

- Online modules – you will be given a number of written assignments to complete prior to departure. These modules will provide you with the knowledge to help you make the most of your summer! Please note these are not graded but will go towards the completion of your award!

- Residential Weekend in April 2012 – come together with others on the IYLA scheme for a residential weekend away in the UK full of fun, Leadership Training and sing songs around the campfire! This “mini camp” weekend is a fantastic experience not only to prepare you for life on camp, but it will also provide a solid foundation for your Leadership development throughout your lives!

- Camp assignments – During camp you will be given the opportunity to showcase your talents! For example you could create your own evening activity for all the campers and staff, allowing you to really get stuck in and leave your mark on camp!

- Certificate – at the end of this programme you will be awarded with the International Youth Leadership Award. This certificate will highlight all your achievements and newly acquired skills! Not only will you have the summer of a lifetime but you’ll leave with valuable leadership skills that will put you one step ahead of the competition in years to come!
