I havent written a blog in a wee while. OK a long time. I'm currently sat in IKEA on my unofficial break as I finished all my work and my manager has abandoned us poor drones for the evening (yay!).Camp wise...i'm ready to go I went and bought all those extra items to try and stuff in my bag last week including some nice microfibre towels and colourful socks. (they remind me of skittles because they look like the rainbow...not that i'm tempted to 'taste the rainbow'...to conclude no i haven't eaten my socks...yet.) I got all excited the other day as I am gradually getting to know other people who i'm gonna meet at camp ( *mandatory wave*) Also all of my forms have been sent off and received at the other end which means i'm legally going...eeek! Generally the other side of my life i'm trying to ignore as much as possible...procrastination is my ultimate demon. I have 6 exams before I go and revision really needs to be started. Instead i'm wasting my days watching Whose Line is it Anyway, Gilmore Girls and Home and Away, i've also made a billion packing lists and everytime I seem to find something i'm missing...most recent dicovery -a flannel. Basically this little updateroo was for Ellen so she can comment on my blog instead of me graffitiing all over hers. p.s. for a furniture store this stool Ikea has provided is very hard. Peace. x Biscuit please...I just stuck my hand in the biscuit barrel and pulled out a plain cracker. no biscuits anywhere. whats that about?I have become the extreme procrastinator...I have 3 pieces of coursework due in the next few days and I haven't started any of them instead i've been trawling through the forums and entertaining myself with other 'important issues' such as learning to juggle, watching the rugby and eating. Even now this blog is purely being written to waste time....*stares at screen for a good 4 minutes* herm i keep day dreaming about camp...i'm sure everybody going does this right?! I better go find some useless stuff to do- who knows perhaps i'll make a smoothie or even get desperate and do some ironing. wow i need a life :)Who the hell took all my money...Paid for everything. Now Skint. *sigh*Sigh of reliefSo I thought making a blog entry before I had a camp to go to would be silly as I wouldn't have had much to say. Thinking about it I don't have much to say now except perhaps YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Yesterday I was placed at Camp Wind in the Pines in Massachusetts (a place name that I will have to learn to spell) it was my first choice of all the camps that were going to the recruitment fair (which I thought would have been more) and its Girl Scouts adventurey based camp thing. After queueing in line to get in for ages I got to speak to the camp director. Then the interrogation began. I was so nervous i was shaking but it all turned out ok in the end and now i'm on the hunt for someone else going are you out there? |
