Heartbeats!

1:20 PM , 2-Jun-2012 | 0 comments | Link So last night I was incredibly bored so i decided to find a countdown application for my Iphone. After about 2 seconds of searching I came across the perfect app. Simple in design, effective and it basically did the job I wanted. So I downloaded it and set my countdown to seconds. After seeing Hundreds of thousands of digits I decided to go with minutes. Seeing over 10,000 minutes was equaly as depressing so I settled for days. Today I found out I can set it to heartbeats! So I tested it and there are 610,000 heartbeats till I leave my house for the USA. I know 610,000 seems an awful lot but I have figured out a way to time travel. If I go for a run, my trip will be closer right? Comon, surely there is some logic in that? Being the geek that I am, I have been tracking my flight from London to Newark airpirt daily for the past 2 weeks and I am shocked to say that 17 days in a row it has been delayed! Not good! If there is one thing i HATE at an airport it is delays! 3 days ago it was delayed by 4 hours! For any women reading this right now, this is a disclaimer, The rest of this post is going to be primarily about football so feel free to AltF4! As Im sure you all know Euro2012 will be taking place during our American dream so what is everyone taking to camp? Im thinking of taking an England flag to somehow hang up during our games aswell as hoping to get an England jersey! Being half German I also have a Germany Jersey. I really cant decide who I want to win. Probably England because thats where I live now and we havnt won anything for so long! As for the games, is everyone going to be making the best effort to watch the games? I think it will be awesome. Maybe even the Americans could cheer us on, then again, probably not! Olympics also takes centre stage during our America trip and we all know how good USA teams usually are at olympics so Im ready to hear ALOT of banter from the Americans gloating about how good they are! Ahh well, at least our rowers and cyclists are top dogs! Overall I think its going to be an awesome summer, plenty is happening and lots to do and talk about back home. For everyone travelling to USA in the next few days, Enjoy your summer and have a safe trip.
