YASSSS! Finally managed to figure out how to write a blog on this site! My name is Kevin Irvine i'm 24 and ive been placed at Camp Mariah with the Fresh Air Fund in NY state. I fly out from Glasgow on the18th of June WOOP WOOP! Cant wait!
Camp America has been something that ive always wanted to do but I never really had the balls to do it. I went to the recruitment fair in Edinburgh and after 2 hours of questioning and bigging myself up (which I hate doing) I got offered the job of general councillor (I cant spell this word).
Ive already had the chance to speak some other international staff via facebook and they all seem like great fun. Really looking forward to orientation on the 12th in Glasgow, although ive been hearing some right dogey stories of what we do at them!
I'l update this when I can! 56 days woop woop!
